I really like to connect with people with my art. But I do not see myself as someone who is paid to entertain.

I’m paid to let people watch and share in, if they choose, my therapy session at the piano.

I prefer to perform story songs*.

My favourite is Billy Joel, my second favourites are The Beatles and Prince, and I do a little bit of my own and some others for variety (Frank Sinatra, Bob Dylan and some light Opera- see song menu) - and I have written book on performance.

I am currently doing the rounds for my book promotion. I will be making the same concert / performances that I usually do, just mentioning that I have a book published and hopefully selling a few copies at the shows.

e.g.: Hotel California, Tangled Up in Blue, Shelter From the Storm, The Wind Beneath My Wings, The Gambler, Tiny Dancer, Rocket Man, Jailhouse Rock, Mr Bojangles, My Way, One For the Road, When I'm 64, Norwegian Wood, My Life, A Day in The Life, The Fool On The Hill, Goodnight Saigon, Piano Man, I Go To Extremes, Scenes from an Italian Restaurant, Minnie The Moocher, Mary Poppins, Suzanne, PLUS a couple of my own (which sometimes go down the best of all).

An invaluable tool for anyone and everyone in the entertainment industry. You will gain insight and inspiration from this important work.

An instruction manual about how to do a good performance, it speaks to me. Very well written thoughtful stuff, fascinating.

"Really good solid organic original material,

it has to be experienced live, they’re not simple in terms of structure nor in terms of emotional content."
